William Warren Hobin
Chief Executive Officer
Bill Hobin is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of The William Warren Group, a vertically integrated real estate investment and development company. Since the formation of the company in 1994, Bill has led the WWG team on all of the development, acquisition and management activities. He is responsible for major company relationships, building the WWG team and providing strategic corporate vision.
Bill has an active hand in the various state and national self storage trade associations, acting as key note speaker to numerous groups, past Board Director of the National Self Storage Association (SSA), President and Board Director of the California Self Storage Association (CSSA), and maintains current membership across numerous State Associations. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and resides with his family in Pacific Palisades, CA.
Clark Porter
President/Chief Financial Officer
Clark is the President and Chief Financial Officer of WWG. Clark’s responsibilities include management of all lending and banking relationships, as well as oversight of the capital structure for acquisitions and new developments. Clark directly oversees all financial aspects related to property and corporate level profitability.
Prior to joining WWG, Clark worked at WSGP Partners, LP, a merchant bank focused on the acquisition of financial institutions that was founded by former Secretary of the Treasury William E. Simon. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley and his MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Gary Sugarman
Chief Operating Officer
Gary is the Managing Partner and Chief Operating Officer of WWG and directly oversees national operating and growth initiatives for the StorQuest brand.
Prior to joining The William Warren Group, Gary served as COO of Edison Properties, LLC, where he maintained full P&L responsibility for all business units of Edison’s $5 billion real-estate portfolio, including direct accountability for all aspects of operating the notable Manhattan Mini Storage portfolio. Prior to his role at Edison, Gary spent 20 years operating several national retail chains, and practiced as a Wall Street corporate finance attorney.
Gary is a graduate of Harvard Law School and The University of Michigan, and has served as Chairman of the New York Self Storage Association, a Board Member of the National Self Storage Association Large Operators Council, and a Member of CubeSmart’s Board of Strategic Advisors.
Timothy Hobin
Chief Investment Officer
Tim is the Chief Investment Officer of WWG and directly oversees real estate development and investment strategy. He directly oversees a team of real estate professionals to deliver on that strategy and to ensure our proformas are tracking in accordance with business plans. Tim mentors our program leadership and real estate team to drive the company toward achieving its investment, return and growth objectives through all market cycles.
Prior to joining WWG, Tim spent seven years as a Financial Consultant with Smith Barney in San Francisco. Tim graduated from UC Berkeley in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Science.
Tuji Chang
Managing Director, Capital Markets
As Managing Director, Tuji is responsible for leading the capital markets and business development efforts for the WWG Storage Income Fund. He brings over 15 years of real estate investment and asset management experience with a career track record that includes closing over $4 billion of investments.
Prior to joining WWG, Tuji has held real estate investment positions at Douglas Emmett, Kilroy Realty and Kearny Real Estate Company. He earned a dual Masters of Business Administration/Masters of Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California and a Bachelors of Arts in Applied Math from the University of California, Berkeley. Tuji is a licensed California Real Estate Broker and a member of the Urban Land Institute.
Ryan Frankman
Managing Director, Debt Originations
As Managing Director - Debt Originations, Ryan is responsible for overseeing the origination process of William Warren's debt venture. He will also manage the credit analysis, and relationship management within the fund. Additional responsibilities include identifying and evaluating potential lending opportunities, negotiating terms, and managing client relationships to facilitate successful debt transactions. He brings over 15 years of debt origination and commercial real estate lending experience.
Prior to joining WWG, Ryan has held real estate loan origination positions at Pacific Southwest Realty Services, Universal Bank, American West Bank and Axos Bank (formally BofI Federal Bank). He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration from the University of Arizona. Ryan is a licensed California Real Estate Salesperson.
Lloyd Hussey
Managing Director - Real Estate/WWG Storage Income Fund
Lloyd is a Managing Director on the Real Estate team and provides management oversight to acquisitions efforts nationally. In this role, he works with our regional acquisition teams to source, underwrite and close value-add self-storage property acquisitions. Additionally, Lloyd works closely with the executive team on the management of the WWG Storage Income Fund.
Prior to joining The William Warren Group, Lloyd was the Acquisitions and Asset Management Director for Christina Real Estate Investors, a Los Angeles based real estate private equity fund with diverse holdings in retail, office, residential and mixed-use assets. Lloyd earned a dual MBA/Master of Real Estate Development degree from the University of Southern California and an undergraduate business degree from Georgetown University. He is a licensed California Real Estate Broker, a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst and a member of the Urban Land Institute.
Alyssa Parker
Senior Vice President of Real Estate
As Senior Vice President of Real Estate, Alyssa oversees the business development, real estate and market research teams. The business development team is responsible for sourcing new third-party owners as well as potential development opportunities in key markets. On the market research side, she is responsible for developing and implementing analysis activities for WWG’s new acquisition and development opportunities throughout the U.S.
Prior to joining WWG in 2015, Alyssa gained business development and operations experience working as a General Manager for the Hillstone Restaurant Group. Alyssa received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Dartmouth College.
Edward Zinke
Senior Vice President of Real Estate
Edward is the Senior Vice President of Real Estate for WWG. In his 25-year career, he has been instrumental in the development of over $1.4 billion in property located in the U.S. and abroad. Starting as a construction laborer, he has distinguished himself in many senior executive roles, with a primary focus on finance, P&L, and marketing responsibilities.
Prior to joining WWG, Ed handled assignments for both public and private development companies including The Braemar Group and DeVere Anderson Enterprises. He has also been called upon to provide advisory services for select Fortune 500 companies including D.R. Horton, The Ryland Group and Standard Pacific. Ed holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the W.P. Cary School of Business, Arizona State University, and is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the state of California.
Smriti Kumar
Controller
As Controller, Smriti is responsible for all accounting matters for WWG including financial reporting, general accounting, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. She is also responsible for compliance and risk management across the organization.
Prior to joining WWG, Smriti worked in public accounting as an Auditor at a nationally recognized audit and tax firm. During her 10-year tenure, she was responsible for conducting commercial and residential real estate audits including publicly traded self-storage companies. She brings over 15 years of combined public and private accounting experience. Smriti received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from Baruch College, City University of New York and her Master of Science in Accounting from Queens College, City University of New York.
Brian Peeling
Vice President of Construction
As Vice President of Construction, Brian oversees the company’s construction division. He leads a team of construction managers and is responsible for the development, implementation, supervision and reporting on the company’s new property developments across the country.
Prior to joining WWG, he held positions on both the general contractor and ownership side of construction over the past 20 years. With the last 10 years serving in multiple leadership roles within the Irvine Company, both in the office and retail property divisions, overseeing both ground up and reinvestment projects. Brian is a graduate of San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.
Norman Shore
Vice President of Operations
Norman is the Vice President of Operations and oversees the further integration of store operations with all corporate departments across the organization, refining our sales process to our stores via AI-driven technology, and expanding our digital monitoring and security platform. He brings more than 20 years of self-storage experience to WWG.
Prior to joining WWG, he spent two years as Vice President of Asset Management at Alpha Storage Properties, where he was responsible for the oversight of their operating platform and performance of all assets. Before that, he served as the Sr. Managing Director at Kayne Anderson, leading the self-storage team. Shore also held several management roles with Centershift Software, a key software provider to the self-storage industry, OB Companies, and Regional Manager roles with U-Store-It and Public Storage. Norman is a graduate of Temple University with a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees in Education.
Brooke Wiegand
Vice President of Marketing
As the Vice President of Marketing, Brooke oversees the company’s national brand, digital and marketing strategy. She is responsible for creating a guest-centric, brand-led organization that collaborates cross-functionally to support both corporate and store-level marketing initiatives.
Prior to joining WWG, Brooke developed the marketing strategy for two $1B divisions at Mattress Firm. Before that, she led the hospitality marketing team at the ONNI Group and served in several brand, digital, loyalty and field marketing roles at Hyatt Hotels Corporation. Brooke received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire.
Traci Young
Vice President of Human Resources
As Vice President of Human Resources, Traci oversees the company's human resources strategy and initiatives. She is responsible for recruiting and retaining talent, workplace safety, employee relations, compensation and benefits, compliance with national, state & local labor laws and training & development at all WWG locations across the country.
Prior to joining WWG, she had her own consulting business focused on operations, assisting companies with change management, risk mitigation, process implementation and human resources. Traci previously held executive positions at Reed Elsevier, EMI Music Publishing and eLogic Corporation. Traci holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Stanford University.
Jason Yu
Vice President of Finance
As Vice President of Finance, Jason is responsible for providing leadership and oversight for WWG’s finance, accounting, treasury and tax operations. He is also responsible for compliance and risk management across the organization.
Jason brings over 20 years of finance and related experience, including FP&A, capital markets, investor relations, treasury, transaction advisory and strategic analysis. Prior to joining WWG, he spent 12 years with a number of real estate investment firms across a variety of sectors. Jason received his undergraduate degree in Physics and Economics from Harvey Mudd College and his MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
Barb Dorsett
Director - National Call Center
As Director of the Call Center, Barb oversees the company's national call center sales and service team. She is responsible for delivering a world class customer-centric sales team, with a focus on exemplary service, experience first call resolution.
Prior to joining WWG, Barb served over 17 years with AAA, where she held a number of leadership positions. Most recently, as Director of Call Center Sales and Service, where she was recognized for building the top performing Insurance and Membership sales team. Prior to her role at AAA, Barb worked in sales and sales support roles within the Insurance, Financial Services and Hospitality industries and holds multiple insurance licenses. Barb received her Bachelors of Science degree in Business Marketing from University of Phoenix.
Kelsey Grode
Director of Investor Relations
As Director of Investor Relations, Kelsey manages all communications with the company’s investor community. She is responsible for ensuring investors have accurate, timely, and well-presented information about company performance.
Prior to joining WWG, Kelsey was founder and principal of a book development and content marketing firm. Her clients included Fortune 100 execs, startup entrepreneurs, professional jugglers, and TikTok stars. Prior to owning her firm, Kelsey worked in technology at Sequoia Capital. She graduated with honors from Stanford University with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
Clark Porter Jr
Director of Data Intelligence
As Director of Data Intelligence, Clark oversees pricing strategy, business intelligence, database management, data architecture, and data science projects. Prior to joining WWG in 2017, Clark developed, trained, and managed a Sales Team at a Los Angeles based start up as both the company and team revenues quintupled in size during his tenure. Clark received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Integrative Biology from UC Berkeley and his Graduate Certificate of Business from Bond University.
Rona Siegel
National Director of Third Party Management
Rona Siegel is currently the National Director of Third Party Management. She was previously the Business Development Director for the East Coast Region for a couple of years after spending many years as WWG's District Manager for Connecticut, Virginia, New York and New Jersey.
Rona has spent the last 20+ years in Asset and Property Management in various facets including commercial, retail and multifamily and has received many accolades including the prestigious Pinnacle Award for Manhattan Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) as “Manager of the Year”. She currently sits on Board of the NYSSA and the SSA Large Owners Council and previously was the 2016/2017 Board President of Southern CT BOMA chapter. In addition, Siegel is an active runner and has completed three (3) New York City Marathons in 1998, 2000 and 2017.

John Banh
Divisional Operations Director – West
John Bahn is the Divisional Operations Director for WWG’s West Division.
John has over 15+ years of experience at the Divisional and District Manager levels. Prior to joining WWG, he worked over 4 years as a Sr. District Manager with Jiffy Lube and over 6 years as a District Manager with Public Storage where his role was also the Trainer of new District Managers. In addition, John has held Management roles with several Car Rental companies including Enterprise Rent-A-Car.
John graduated from University of California, Irvine with a degree in Economics.
David Friday
Divisional Operations Director - East
David Friday is the Divisional Operations Director for WWG’s East Division.
Prior to joining WWG, he worked with Public Storage for over 5 years where he was recognized for excellence in business advocacy as a President’s Circle Award Winner. David also held management roles with US Remodelers, Nestle and Frito Lay.
David graduated from University of Tampa with a degree in Environmental Sciences.
